She couldn't forget him even though she got married to some one else. Oh! god its only a year now that he tied the knot , she couldn't believe that , for her it looked like a decade.
It was on her way back to Chennai that she could meet him on that nice evening in the train. Don't exactly remember how the conversation started, but one thing is sure for her that it was really amazing to speak to him. With in that 5 hrs of journey they drilled in depth of many subjects which they both were interested in. He reads a lot...she too, and many more matches.
And she got incredibly attracted towards him. When he left her in one of the station and waved his hands hospitably, she was like a baby who lost his kite in the sky. But she had a hope to meet him somewhere again since she had his number and the email ID .The relation continued when she called him on a fine morning, indeed he was expecting that .They couldn't believe the kind of relation they could build in the past 5 months. Days passed away....her parents looked for an alliance for her; she didn't have any other option she told her parents about the relation with him. Since her parents could find a financial match on him they finalized some other. He didn't even have any other option rather being a witness, since the job he had was not enough to take care of his small family even.
She felt the life was too boring and left out in a corner in that big house in that metro city. Husband usually comes in the late nights after visiting the pubs, the modern life's new faces. She couldn't ever adjust with him..Finally she managed to find a new job for her.
After the day someone else own her, he didn't have her whereabouts. Days
seemed like hell for him during that time .Days passed away. He got in to a new job and posted in Chennai, unexpectedly could meet her on the Mall where she was following a guy. She never had a hope that she could meet him again and the relation will rebuild. New hopes in the life made him to concentrate in work and he was regaining all those what he felt he already lost. Days are more interesting now a days. They can't even live with out having heard on the phone each other for a day. They were polishing the memories of olden days.
The so called husband of her has become a team lead in his company and he has no time to spend with his wife (though he never felt she as his wife).Added advantage for them to meet each other. He got a new job opportunity in a multinational company in north India, since he couldn't leave her he gave up that offer.
She was just recollecting all these time while she was standing near to that banyan tree near to the temple where they usually meet during week ends .Screaming of a baby , waked her up from all those thoughts , she glanced at that baby ...and a long sigh came out of her . She could have had a baby by this time but.....she ever wanted that from the
other..............she could see him coming from a bit far , in that red corduroy shirt he most liked....!!!
